Edgehill College is set in beautiful grounds of over 50 acres, with excellent facilities including a purpose built theatre. Edgehillians enjoy being on the outskirts of the historic town of Bideford, within sight of Devon's rolling countryside, glorious beaches and moorland.
 
The site is fantastic - but the people are better! The youngest join "The Leading Edge Nursery" from the age of three months and the oldest complete A levels aged eighteen.

Class sizes are small, usually around 15 pupils. We know each individual and understand their hopes and dreams: the personal care we give to pupils is an integral part of our ethos. All pupils are valued for their personality and character, which is reflected in the excellent relationships between pupils of all ages, staff and parents.

Through the extensive activities programme, Edgehillians develop confident leadership and interpersonal skills. The atmosphere encourages all to take part: our national champions encourage novices, all become willing to try, and mutual encouragement means many discover talents they didn't realise they possessed. This is reflected academically in the exceptional 'value added' examination results, and socially in their blend of confidence, poise and modesty.

Exciting new development

Edgehill College is merging with another popular local independent school - Grenville College.

The merger will guarantee the continued provision of first class education in the area and provide both staff and pupils with combined resources, excellent pastoral care and new opportunities. There will be no interruption to courses already begun at either school.
